I know whenever my children come home from school with their report cards I am not always happy with their grades. And over the years I have found a few tricks that will get their grades where they should be. So here are a few quick tips:

1. Make sure your child is doing their homework and getting their assignments in on time. Homework is an essential key to better grades. It counts for about 15% of your childrens grades and really can make a big difference.

2. If the teachers allows it, take your child to see their teacher before school, after school, or make your child see him or her at lunch. That way they can recieve extra help on things they don't understand and one-on-one attention so the teacher isn't distracted with any of the other kids in the class.

3. Make sure that your child has a good study envoirment. If they study and do their work in a loud distracting envoirment, they get distracted and make silly mistakes. For a good study envoirment you will need a room in which there is no computers, televisions, games, or anything that can be distracting.

4. If your child needs extra help, get him or her a tutor. A tutor will give your son the extra help he needs and some tips they can use. With one of my children, I got her a tutor for math. About a month after working with the tutor, her C+ in math shot right up to an A. It made a huge difference.

5. Help and encourage your child. What children really need is a boost of encouragement. I never put down my children. It made my them work harder and study harder which hugely impacted her grades.

I hope these quick tips will help you get your childrens grades where they should be. I mean it's about time to recieve a report card that will put a smile on your face.
